FAQ

Where are you located?
We're located in the heart of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. We do not have a store front yet.

Is Wolf + Aster Indigenous owned?
Yes! 100% owned by a proud Alberta Metis woman.

I'm not Indigenous, can I still wear/use the products? Or is it appropriation?
Oh heck yes you can! Wolf + Aster products are for everyone. When you purchase from Wolf + Aster you're directly supporting the Indigenous artists that design the art for our products. We love seeing our products 'in the wild' when we are out and about in the community.

Where are your products sourced?
We use a variety of venders, locally and abroad. We do our best to keep what we can in Canada, despite the cost, we believe supporting local and sourcing as much responsibly as we can. this is why our fabric is printed in Canada with reactive inks and our DTF and certain UV products are made in Canada as well.

Some products are sourced across the big blue due to a variety of factors, generally though you just can't find vendors in North America that provide the products, like shoes or enamel pins.

Why do the DTF images look weird and not crisp?
In the age of AI, which we are vehemently against, we have put a type of watermark that, hopefully poisons and AI scrapers from copying our work and stealing our artists hard work. Your DTF transfers will come crisp and clean without the watermark on them.

Why are some of your products made with computer models? Isn't this AI?
It is not AI generated in any way. A designer or artist makes a computer render and the design is placed on it then. We use the computer generated images for a couple reasons. One is they have a better render than the typical overlay of other mockups and two because photographers and models deserve to be paid for their work. When we can we hire professionals to model and take photo's of our products.
